Following back to back supersport race victories at the Armoy Road Races, William Dunlop has secured 2015 Irish road race supersport championship victory.
It’s the first time William has won this prestigious title, in 2014 he finished runner up in the championship.
He’s shown this season tremendous and dominant form on Ivan Curran/CD Racing YZF R6 Yamaha. It was clear William was going to enjoy a highly successful season in supersport class, following back to back supersport wins at Cookstown 100.

From here he’s been triumphant at Tandragee 100, Kells Road Races, Skerries Road Races, Walderstown Road Races, and now at Armoy.
In total so far during the 2015 road racing season, William has chalked up eight supersport victories.
The 2014 North West 200 superbike race 1 winner, is absolutely delighted to have recorded Irish road race supersport championship success.
Plus William is on course to make it a championship double, as he leads superbike championship by 19 points over his nearest challenger Derek Sheils, going into the Faugheen 50 Road Races.
He is greatly looking forward to the world’s fastest road race, the Ulster Grand Prix. William is tipped by many to start as the firm favourite in supersport races, as pushes for golden results around Dundrod on Ivan Curran/CD Racing YZF R6 Yamaha.

Plus he’s amongst the main contenders for victories in superstock, superbike races, which sees him competing on top spec BMW Motorrad machinery for Tyco BMW.
