Dan Cooper TT 2015 Privateers Championship Leader

Dan Cooper leads the 2015 TT privateers championship going into the blue riband senior TT.

Competing on his own teams Honda’s Dan has shown top class form at this years Isle of Man TT.

RST superbike TT saw CBR 1000 Honda Fireblade mounted Dan secure highly creditable 15th place finish following a highly accomplished performance from the 2013 Welsh open winner at Aberdare Park Road Races.

Next up was the opening Monster Energy supersport race, the rising road racing star chalked up 14th place finish following another top quality display.

Royal London 360 superstock and Monster Energy supersport TT race two carried a similar pattern for Dan who recorded two more top 15 finishes keeping up his good form.

With a lead of 11 points over Jamie Hamilton Dan goes into the senior TT in prime position for TT 2015 privateers championship victory.

Should Dan achieve this he would join James Mcbride, Ian Mackman, Dan Stewart, Lee Johnston and Ivan Lintin in been a winner of this prestigious championship at TT Races.

Alongside Pokerstars senior TT tomorrow sees Dan piloting the CMS Racing ER6 Kawasaki in lightweight TT, he is tipped to secure a world class result.

Last years lightweight TT saw Dan finish an excellent eighth and expectations are extremely positive that he can be in the mix for podium placing.

Ever since making his Isle of Man TT debut back in 2010 Dan Cooper has get quicker and quicker around the mountain course.

Tomorrow could well see him achieve his biggest accolade to date at TT Races, winning the 2015 TT privateers championship.
