This years Cookstown 100 is set to see an exciting 250 race. Amongst the entry is runner in last years Irish road race 250 championship Michael Sweeney who will be competing on a RS250 Honda for Cookstown/Burrows Engineering racing. Reigning 250 Ulster Grand Prix winner Gareth Keys is also entered whilst current 125 Irish road race champion Sam Dunlop will also be in the mix at the front of the race.
Top 250 riders Paul Robinson, David Guiney and Brian Mateer are also in this years 250 race at Cookstown whilst rising road racing star Mark Hanna is an exciting addition to the race. Current newcomers C Manx Grand Prix winner Ben Rea is set to make his debut in two stroke racing at Cookstown this year competing on a TZ250 Yamaha. In all its great to see the 250’s back in action at Cookstown this year, the well liked class of racing has over the years provided road racing fans with many a great moment.
