Two times TT winner Cameron Donald is set to return to real road racing action, at the Classic TT Races.
Having been on the over side of the fence at TT 2017, commentating and giving his expert views as part of the ITV4 TT team, he’s hugely looking forward to getting back out on the Mountain Course aboard the McIntosh Racing Manx Norton, within the Sure Junior race.
A former runner up in the class, he has the undoubted pedigree to be in contention for at minimum, a rostrum finish.
Speaking about his upcoming fourth Classic TT campaign, the three times international road race winner said:
“I’ve really enjoyed the Classic TT since the outset and having missed riding at this year’s TT on the modern bikes, I am raring to go with Ken and the McIntosh Racing Team.
I’ve worked with Ken on and off for a long time and I know how good his bikes are.
It’s always going to be a hard up against the multi cylinder bikes, but these are races of attrition and with four consistently fast laps I hope to be close when the chequered flag goes out.”
