Birchall’s To Hold Number 1 Plate In Locate.im Sidecar Encounters

The all conquering Birchall brothers Ben & Tom, who have proven nigh on unbeatable in recent years, will lead the Locate.im Sidecar entry away at TT 2019, as the legendary Mansfield pairing carry again the coveted number 1 plate.

With five wins from six starts over last three TT meetings, allied to lap records, race records, and an outstandingly huge will to win, it’s fair to say it’s going to take special performances from their fellow anticipated front runners, to stop them moving into double TT winning figures in June.

Holder of the two plate behind the Birchall’s, are nearest challengers of recent TT’s John Holden/Lee Cain.

Competing this year under the Silicone Barnes Racing banner, Holden/Cain no question have the mixture of sheer experience, raw talent, raw pace, fierce determination and proven front running qualities, to mount another potent challenge this summer on TT success.

The talented duo of Tim Reeves/Mark Wilkes, multi rostrum finishers at TT 2018, are widely considered alongside Holden/Cain, as the biggest contenders to end the Birchall’s dominance, hold the three plate.

Whilst plates four and five have been assigned to the Founds brothers Alan & Pete, who’s latest TT campaigns will see them join forces again respectively with Jake Lowther and Jevan Walmsley.

Lewis Blackstock/Patrick Rosney (Silicone Barnes Racing), holders of the six plate, like Founds/Lowther and Founds/Walmsley, are extremely capable of battling for podium finishes.

Same applies and some to the next team on the entry list, Mountain Course legend Dave Molyneux and lead three wheeling passenger newcomer at TT 2018, Harry Payne.

Completing the first ten seeded starters are former TT champions Conrad Harrison/Andy Winkle, the father & son duo of Steve Ramsden/Matty Ramsden, and the vastly experienced pairing of Gary Bryan/Phil Hyde.

Overall closing in on fifty racers have placed entries in for the Locate.im Sidecar races of TT 2019, including three events debutants which includes Ryan Crowe/Callum Crowe, plus various overseas stars, countless event stalwarts and hungry, ambitious next generation three wheeling exponents.
