Ryan Farquhar’s KMR Kawasaki team have a fabulous line up for the super twin races at this years Vauxhall international North West 200. Ryan is back in action for first time in two years at the triangle having secured super twins race victory back in 2012. Reigning super twins race winner at 2013 North West 200 Jeremy Mcwilliams will start once again as one of the favourites, Jeremy’s debut pure road race win last year was a popular one and the former Moto GP podium finisher will be looking for his second win at North West 200 this year.
Keith Amor like Ryan Farquhar is back competing this year and the flying Scotsman is happy with KMR Kawasaki super twin which he will be competing on in both super twin races. Also lining up for KMR Kawasaki is rising road racing star Connor Behan who has already this season being victorious in super twin class at Tandragee 100.
Quattro Plant Kawasaki’s James Hillier is one of the leading riders in road racing in super twin class, the reigning lightweight TT winner will be looking for his first North West 200 win this year as will Ivan Lintin who has established himself as one of the leading super twin riders in recent years.
Ivan was victorious in super twin race at Ulster Grand Prix in 2013 and was winner of Lee Pullan trophy at Oliver’s Mount in the same year plus Ivan won both super twin races at Ian Watson spring cup road races at Oliver’s Mount during the opening round of this years Duke road race championship.
Team mate to Ivan at Mckinstry racing for this years North West 200 is Bruce Dunn. Bruce achieved top 15 finish during last years super twin race and is aiming for an even stronger result this year. James Cowton made his North West 200 debut in 2013 securing 7th place finish in super twins race, James one of the fastest rising stars in road racing will start as a rider to watch in all classes at 2014 North West 200.
Rising stars Michael Sweeney, Derek Sheils and Colin Stephenson all have the potential to be mixing it at the front during the super twins race which is set to produce high quality and exciting racing.
Tsingtao racing are running Dan Cooper on a WK Bikes super twin, the manufacturer which made its road racing debut at TT 2013 is expected to be more competitive this year and a good result is more than possible for the rider known as the Ferret who has quickly adapted to North West 200 since making his debut back in 2012.
Lee Johnston finished fifth in last years super twin race and the East Coast racing rider looks set to be right near the sharp end when competing on a ER6 Kawasaki, Dan Kneen is also Kawasaki mounted for both super twin races competing for Cookstown/Burrows Engineering.
Ice Valley racing by Motorsave ltd’s line up in the super twin class is lead by Paul Shoesmith and North West 200 newcomer Franck Petricola. Davy Morgan is happy with CMS racing ER6 Kawasaki and the former 250 winner at the triangle has every chance of securing a top result as does seven time TT winner Michael Dunlop.
Michael isn’t known by many to be a specialist in the super twin class but a clear victory in super twins race A at Cookstown 100 means the reigning Duke road race rankings championship winner cannot be discounted for victories when competing on Mcadoo racing ER6 Kawasaki.

Timothee Monot recorded a top 30 finish in lightweight TT last year and is getting better and better at North West 200, the Optimark road racing rider could cause a surprise or two in super twin races where potentially we could see new North West 200 winners.
