Lee Johnston edged out Peter Hickman by only 0.090 of a second, to secure a thrilling superstock race victory, at the Ulster Grand Prix.
It’s the East Coast Racing rider’s fourth international road race victory, on his way to race victory general Lee set new superstock lap record around Dundrod, following lap speed of 132.793 mph.
Peter Hickman’s second place finish, is the supremely talented rider’s first international road race podium finish. He showed throughout the six lap superstock race, top class pace on Briggs Equipment backed S1000RR BMW.
Michael Dunlop produced a world class all round performance, to finish in third position on his own teams S1000RR BMW.
Tyco BMW’s William Dunlop sealed highly creditable fourth place finish, whilst Keith Amor impressed finishing in fifth place on Rig Deluge Road Racing S1000RR BMW.
David Johnson rounded out the top six finishers, following a highly accomplished display on Ice Valley Racing S1000RR BMW.
Dan Kneen was seventh and leading Honda mounted rider, Dean Harrison battled his way to eighth place finish, as Russ Mountford and Bruce Anstey concluded the top ten finishers.
