12 AM on Saturday morning, marked the end of another year of racers sending entries in for competition at the iconic, historical, unparalleled TT Races.
At a glance when looking at the prospective line up for TT 2023, there’s a great diverse mix of proven front runners, Mountain Course history makers, next generation stars, plus tens of hungry, ambitious Privateers/Independents.
Manufacturers wise Honda, Kawasaki, BMW are all confirmed to have an official presence.
Expect Yamaha, Paton, Aprilia, Triumph to also have strong representation and don’t be surprised if there’s a Ducati amongst the 1000cc races entry lists.
Top line independent, semi works, privateers’ teams over recent months to confirm event participation include Padgetts Racing, Ashcourt Racing, BE Racing/RK Racing, Team ILR with Mark Coverdale.
WH Racing, Wilson Craig Racing, Bathams Racing, Boyce Precision Engineering/Russell Racing and reigning Privateers Championship winners KTS Racing Powered by Steadplan.
Just some of the most high-profile racers aiming to sample this summer the most famous road race in the world, for the first time include Stephen Smith, Amalric Blanc, Italian starlet Francesco Curinga.
Plus, Mountain Course newbies that include Matthieu Lagrive (Optimark Road Racing), Marcus Simpson and Macau GP winner Erno Kostamo.
We mustn’t forget as well the truly top calibre three-wheeling line-up for TT 2023, with confirmed crews including the all-conquering Birchall brothers Ben & Tom, fellow seasoned front runners such as Pete Founds/Jevan Walmsley, the Crowe’s Ryan & Callum.
The returning Alan Founds/Jake Lowther, John Holden and Oliver’s Mount Scarborough ‘King Pin’ Lee Crawford.
With minus 110 days till competitive action begins on the mythical Mountain Course, the countdown is well and truly on for what’s set to be another compelling two weeks of first rate, top class International roads action.
