TT 2023: Anderson/Team Classic Suzuki Form Partnership

Triple Superbike Classic TT winners Team Classic Suzuki, are confirmed for TT 2023 running in the 1000cc races (Superbike/Senior/Superstock) 35th fastest racer in TT Races history, Shaun Anderson.

Runner-up within the Newcomers (A) Manx GP race of 2010, the affable Anderson has since established himself as a dependable, accomplished TT exponent.

Racing last year for multiple Senior class victors Hawk Racing and Graham Wilcock’s Wilcock Consulting squad, Anderson ended race week with four top 25 finishes, including a strong run to ninth in the RST Superbike race.

Looking forward to TT 2023, Banbridge’s Anderson is confident about the GSX-R 1000 machinery provided by Steve Wheatman’s Team Classic Suzuki outfit.

He stated:

“A huge thanks have to go to Steve and Nathan (Colombi), for putting this package together for me.

It seems a lot of people are jumping about and changing manufactures for this year, and it will be interesting to see how we compare.

But I know the bikes are strong, I personally can take confidence from knowing that we will be arriving with bikes I’m familiar with and have taken me into the top 10 at the Superbike Race.”

Anderson continued:

“We know the package has the speed in it, as we have seen the Suzuki win races here in the last few years and lap in the 133mph bracket, so it’s just about extracting that speed for me.

Now it is just about getting some saddle time and getting to know the team so we can be ready to fight at the TT.”
