TT 2019: Weather Prevails Again, As Thursday Afternoon Practice Stint Is Abandoned

Unfortunately the weather lords have prevailed again at TT 2019, with today’s proposed practice session abandoned due to another bout of persistent rain, mist emerging upon the legendary Mountain Course.

Speaking via Twitter about the cancellation of Thursday afternoon’s TT action, Clerk of The Course Gary Thompson MBE BEM stated:

“This afternoon’s qualifying schedule has been cancelled due to poor visibility and weather conditions.

Weather is due to improve throughout the day, so I am cautiously optimistic for tonight’s qualifying session to go ahead as per schedule.”
