TT 2019: Weather, Course Conditions Force Shake Up Of Wednesday Race/Practice Schedule

Inclement weather, mixed course conditions have forced a major shake up in today’s race/practice schedule at TT 2019.

Organisers have made the decision to postpone the second Monster Energy Supersport encounter, which will now join Thursday’s Mountain Course itinerary.

Another major schedule change, sees the Bennetts Lightweight race, have a new reduced race distance of just 3 laps.

Hoped to get underway from 6:30 PM, the change to a 3 lap distance, provides a different challenge for the Lightweight class entrants, with each racer having to make a mandatory pit stop at the completion of the opening lap of the race.

Ones to watch tonight in what’s set to be a compelling, gripping race include practice week pace setter Jamie Coward, Michael Dunlop, Italian star Stefano Bonetti and KMR Kawasaki mounted Gary Johnson, plus lots of focus will also be on the works Norton trio of John McGuinness, Peter Hickman and Davey Todd.

6:30 PM Bennetts Lightweight Race – 3 Laps
