TT 2019: Saturday Evening Practice Cancelled, Monday Race Action Planned

Unfortunately again the good old, consistently dreary weather at TT 2019 has put pay to Saturday evening’s practice session.

Issuing an update via Twitter, about the reasons behind the abandonment of tonight’s timed practice action, a not surprisingly frustrated TT Clerk of The Course, Gary Thompson MBE BEM stated:

“Ok. Thanks for your patience, it has been a frustrating day but given the current conditions on the Mountain, I don’t think things are going to improve in time for tonight’s session, therefore tonight is cancelled and we’ll try again tomorrow. Total and utter frustration.”

Not surprisingly more changes to next weeks race schedule, have been recently announced with the RST Superbike race, opening Locate.im Sidecar race now planned to run on Monday.
