Superbike giants a plenty excelled this evening on the Mountain Course, as the pace rocketed up.
As on Tuesday night it was Tyco BMW’s Ian Hutchinson who headed the times, lapping at 128.987 mph, extremely impressive for only the second practice session of TT 2017.

Same can be tabled upon Michael Dunlop, who lapped in excess of 127 mph aboard the Bennetts Suzuki, new to Suzuki machinery on the world famous Manx roads, the 13 times TT winner is showcasing the potential and more of the newest incarnation of the GSX-R 1000.
Next up on the lap time sheets was Silicone Engineering Racing’s Dean Harrison (126.157), Conor Cummins was close to the 125 mph mark lapping at an average speed of 124.734.
Padgetts team mate Bruce Anstey piloting the exotic Moto GP spec RC213V-S Honda, lapped in excess of 124 as did Gary Johnson.
Added notable speeds recorded tonight included Steve Mercer (123.984), Michael Rutter (123.959), Martin Jessopp (123.942) and Norton duo David Johnson (123.607) and Josh Brookes (122.583).
Guy Martin was 15th quickest, whilst new to S1000RR BMW machinery Brian McCormack, was happy with his standing start lap of 116.802.
Unfortunately due to a combination of mist and deteriorating weather conditions, which made the chance of the medical helicopter covering the lower parts of the course, not possible, practice concluded tonight, at 7:18 PM.
