The 1 lap Superbike/Superstock/Supersport practice session, saw Bathams SMT Racing’s Michael Rutter (129.59) set the pace.
Multiple riders used the session, as an opportunity to check how different settings/changes to their machines are working, ahead of the six lap RST Superbike race, tomorrow.
Peter Hickman (129.34), Ian Hutchinson (129.24) and James Hillier (129.18) where all closely matched, whilst Michael Dunlop had a low key lap, nudging close to the 126 mph mark.

Bruce Anstey topped the 128 mph mark, on the exotic Padgetts RC213V-S Honda, Martin Jessopp (127.75) wasn’t far behind, whilst one of the standout performances came from Junior Manx GP winner Andy Dudgeon, setting a new personal best lap speed of 122.55 mph.
Guy Martin (124.4) continues to chip away with the CBR 1000RR Fireblade SP2, whilst IRRC front runner Jochem Van Den Hoek, impressed lapping in excess of 122 and stellar TT newcomer Adam McLean, broke through the magical 120 mph mark, lapping at 120.550.
High profile retirements from the one lap practice session, included Silicone Engineering Racing’s Dean Harrison and Bimota’s Ben Wylie.
