Ten riders gained their first laps of the Mountain Course, tonight during the opening practice session at this years TT Races.
Accomplished IRRC (International Road Racing Championship) competitor Jochem Van Den Hoek, finished quickest newcomer tonight, lapping at 108.109 mph, on the Performance Racing Achterhoek ZX10R Kawasaki.

The Peoples Bike Team backed Seamus Elliott was second quickest of the TT debutants, lapping at 104.997 mph, later on in the session, Seamus crashed at Hailwood Heights, but is ok.
Further newcomers to impress included Olaf Romijn 104.499 mph, the youngest rider at TT 2016 Josh Daley 103.560 mph, Canada’s Darren James 101.72 mph and Danny Tomlinson Racing’s Michael Booth 100.883 mph.
