Although widely anticipated and to no one’s obvious surprise, next year’s TT Races will officially feature for the first time in the event’s illustrious history, a ten-race schedule.
Practice week action commences on the 29th May and runs through to Friday 2nd of June, before race week enters the horizon.
In contrast to each TT since 2005, the Superbike class won’t open racing proceedings, instead on Saturday 3rd June, it’s Supersport exponents alongside Sidecar pilots.
The Superbikes then take centre stage the following day (4th June) before a rest day ensues for competitors.
Tuesday 6th June, features opening Superstock, Super Twins race proceedings, Wednesday 7th June features second Supersport, Sidecar races.
Breaking with tradition, the blue riband Senior class in 2023 will take place on Saturday 10th June, with Friday’s racing focused upon the second Superstock, Super Twins encounters.
As in 2022, the electric machinery-based TT Zero class doesn’t feature across the race week itinerary.
