“My wee Super Twin (ER6 Kawasaki), it’s a cracking little bike.”

Q3: What’s the best part of competing on the roads?

“The craic is brilliant! Also the road racing fans are ace, when they pop in past the awning in the paddocks.”

Q4: TT, North West 200 or Ulster Grand Prix?

“TT, the TT circuit is amazing.”

Q5: Most Respected Rival?

“Craig Shirlaw when he was thin!!”

Q6: Best roads moment thus far?

“Finishing all three Manx GP races last year, after I had two DNF’s in 2016 through technical issues.

Another great moment was when me and my mate Richard Duncan, had a play about one practice session at the Manx, you don’t often get to run round the TT course at race speeds, with your mates.”

Q7: Is their one place or country in the world, where you would like to see a roads meeting held?

“My favourite road from Peterhead through to Newburgh, it reminds me of the start line to Ballacraine of the TT circuit.”

Q8: Who’s your road racing hero?

“Patrick Forman, he’s taught me everything I know!”

Q9: Supersport or Superbike?

Q10: Pole position or fastest lap?

“Fastest lap”
