Another ambitious, talented next generation Irish roads competitor, Enniskillen Senior Support lap record holder Stephen McKeown is the next rider to take part in Road Racing News, ten questions challenge.

Sixth within last years Senior Support Championship race at Armoy, his answers to the popular series of questions are as follows:

Q1: Favourite National Roads Meeting?

“100 percent Armoy”

Q2: Favourite Racing Bike?

“It’s a tie between my first race bike KR1S Kawasaki and my old steel frame CBR 600 Honda.”

Q3: What’s the best part of competing on the roads?

“Nothing else like it in the world. The road race paddock is like a family and the craic is always good.”

Q4: TT, North West 200 or Ulster Grand Prix?

“Ulster Grand Prix”

Q5: Most Respected Rival?

“Everyone that takes part.”

Q6: Best roads moment thus far?

“Definitely the Enniskillen Road Races this year. Took pole position in the Senior Support class, race lap record and my first road race podium finishing 2nd.”

Q7: Is their one place or country in the world, where you would like to see a roads meeting held?

“I would love to see some of the local road races make a comeback like Bush or Mid Antrim.”

Q8: Who’s your road racing hero?

“Joey Dunlop/Bruce Anstey.”

Q9: Supersport or Superbike?

“Supersport”

Q10: Pole position or fastest lap?

“Fastest lap”
