A very respectable 27th in last years Bennetts Lightweight TT, Glastonbury’s Lee Hembury is the next rider to take on Road Racing News, ten questions challenge.
The Mountain Course mainstay’s answers to the popular series of questions, are as follows.
Q1: Favourite National Roads Meeting?
“It would have to be the TT, Mountain Course – the place just has everything a road racer needs.”
Q2: Favourite Racing Bike?
“It would have to be the Rotary Norton’s, just a fabulous sound going down Bray Hill.”
Q3: What’s the best part of competing on the roads?
“The adrenaline rush is second to none and the paddocks are always friendly and there to help.”
Q4: TT, North West 200 or Ulster Grand Prix?
“Again this has to be the TT.”

Q5: Most Respected Rival?
“I don’t really have any rivals, I think everyone who takes parts is a respected rival in my view.”
Q6: Best roads moment thus far?
“Completing my first TT last year in the Super Twins class.”
Q7: Is their one place or country in the world, where you would like to see a roads meeting held?
“Being from Glastonbury, I would love to see a road race meeting in the South West, so I don’t have to keep travelling.”
Q8: Who’s your road racing hero?
“This is a tough one, so I will have to pick Joey Dunlop – just a great man.”
Q9: Supersport or Superbike?
“This has to be Supersport for now, but I will be riding a Superbike for the first time this year, so my view may or may not change. This will be decided after the first couple of outings on the Superbike.”
Q10: Pole position or fastest lap?
“Fastest lap all day, there’s nothing worse than that target on your back for pole position.”
