Seventh within the 2014 Newcomers C Manx Grand Prix, recently a collector of highly respectable 21st, 24th place finishes in the Lightweight races at this years Manx, Gaerwen’s John Bain is the next racer to take part in Road Racing News, ten questions challenge.

Q1: Favourite National Roads Meeting?
“Oliver’s Mount. The only one I’ve competed at other than the Mountain Course.”
Q2: Favourite Racing Bike?
“The egg carrier, Gary Gittins built SV650 Suzuki.”
Q3: What’s the best part of competing on the roads?
“The buzz of racing on closed roads between walls, hedges and trees. Also the road racing community/family, friendly and everyone helps each other out.”
Q4: TT, North West 200 or Ulster Grand Prix?
“Mountain Course”
Q5: Most Respected Rival?
“Roads and Track, Ali Foster and Ian Stanford. On Track John Nicklin after fighting for the championship last year!”
Q6: Best roads moment thus far?
“Breaking the 100 mph lap marker in this years lightweight Manx GP! Hopefully will be back next year to chip away on the lap times.”

“Anglesey. Home Ground of the Anglesey’s fastest easter egg. Daaaaaaa!!”
