2017 European Hill Climb Supersport champion, ninth, twelfth in last months Mylchreests Junior, Senior Manx Grand Prix races, quickest Italian Manx GP competitor in history Francesco Curinga is the next racer to take part in Road Racing News, worldwide popular ten questions challenge.
Francesco who has lapped the fabled Mountain Course at close to in excess of the 118 mph mark, answers to the popular series of questions are as follows:
Q1: Favourite National Roads Meeting?
“In Italy there is no real road races or street circuits, so my favourite today is the Isle of Man (Mountain Course).”
Q2: Favourite Racing Bike?
“Honda CBR 600RR, my bike!!”
Q3: What’s the best part of competing on the roads?
“I like everything, especially the environment. The paddock, the organisation, the pilots and then the races not run on a circuit but in a street, it’s the best!”

Q4: TT, North West 200 or Ulster Grand Prix?
“So far I have to say the TT, because I have not tried the others yet, but who knows.”
Q5: Most Respected Rival?
“I respect all my rivals, from first to last, never underestimate anyone. If I have to look in Italy I think of Stefano Bonetti!!”
Q6: Best roads moment thus far?
“The best moment is when it’s finally time to get on the bike and pull down the visor, and when the race is over, I arrive at the paddock with my family, Serena and Vincenzo, and the guys at the Bemar Racing Team.”
Q7: Is their one place or country in the world, where you would like to see a roads meeting held?
“I really wish you could go back to racing in Italy, on the hospital circuit, in Liguria. Today there is only a historical re-enactment unfortunately.”
Q8: Who’s your road racing hero?
“All the drivers who race road races are my heroes, people who have all my respect and respect!”
Q9: Supersport or Superbike?
“Supersport always!! Is my class now and I think forever!!”
Q10: Pole position or fastest lap?
“Fastest lap, every race lap! What a beautiful dream!!”
