Ten Questions Challenge – Dan Ingham

Fifth within the Lightweight Manx GP of 2016, a podium finisher at Aberdare Park, 400 specialist Dan Ingham is the next racer to take part in Road Racing News, ten questions challenge.

The Melton Mowbray based racer’s answers to the popular series of questions, are as follows:

Q1: Favourite National Roads Meeting?

“Would have to be Aberdare Park. Such a good meeting. Well run and full of friendly people. Great circuit for a small capacity bike.”

Q2: Favourite Racing Bike?

“Definitely my Honda RVF 400.”

Q3: What’s the best part of competing on the roads?

“There is just a thrill about being so close to the scenery, at roads venues. Gives you a real sense of speed.”

Q4: TT, North West 200 or Ulster Grand Prix?

“I have only raced on the TT course so would have to be TT. But am planning to race the Ulster GP in the future.”

Q5: Most Respected Rival?

“I don’t really have a rival.”

Q6: Best roads moment thus far?

“Doing my first 100 mph lap around the TT course, in 2016 at the Manx GP.”

Q7: Is their one place or country in the world, where you would like to see a roads meeting held?

“Would love to see more in England, there is a lot of great roads.”

Q8: Who’s your road racing hero?

“The great Joey Dunlop.”

Q9: Supersport or Superbike?

“Superbike. It would be great to ride a top spec bike, on the roads.”

Q10: Pole position or fastest lap?

“Pole position. Ideal starting point for the race ahead.”
