Ten Questions Challenge – Alun Brooks

Sampling roads competition for the first time in July at the Southern 100, Welshpool’s Alun Brooks who went onto finish a very creditable 11th within the Supersport B race, is the next racer to take part in Road Racing News worldwide popular ten questions challenge.

Aiming to make his Mountain Course, Manx Grand Prix debut’s in 2019, his answers to the popular series of questions are as follows:

Q1: Favourite National Roads Meeting?

“Southern 100, as it’s the first road race I competed in this year.”

Q2: Favourite Racing Bike?

“CBR1000RR Honda, find it easier to ride than my CBR600RR.”

Q3: What’s the best part of competing on the roads?

“The paddocks are so friendly and the thrill of racing the open roads.”

Q5: Most Respected Rival?

“Sam Mousley, he’s one to watch.”

Q6: Best roads moment thus far?

“Finishing 11th in the 600 B race at the Southern 100, after only having eight laps practice on the track (Billown).”
