Team ACR Confirm 100th Anniversary Manx GP Campaign

Team ACR (Alasdair Cowan Racing), are the latest prominent team, to announce their 100th Anniversary Manx Grand Prix plans, as the Scottish outfit work with three esteemed Mountain Course exponents.

Superbike Classic TT victor in 2019, Adelaide ace David Johnson, will again be aboard turquoise blue, yellow liveried ZXR 750 Kawasaki tackle.

Carrying the coveted number one plate for this month’s Classic Superbike encounter, ‘Davo’ is quietly confident that another first-rate, prodigious yesteryear machine stint is beckoning.

It’s a similar vibe echoed by ‘130 Mph Club’ member Craig Neve, who prior to technical gremlins, was locked last year in a nip and tuck battle with Rob Hodson for yesteryear SBK honours.

Finalising Team ACR’s 2023 MGP rider line-up is experienced event participant, Chris Cook.

Holding presently a personal best lap speed of 119.491 mph, Cook, who hails from the same town in Scotland as the legendary Steve Hislop, Hawick, has ZX6R Kawasaki power at his disposal for the blue-riband Senior class.

Keen to obtain ‘Tommy Club’ membership, it’s fair to say he has his best chance to date of joining the Manx GP podium finishers fraternity.
