Special Events On The Horizon For Upcoming 90th Anniversary Of The North West 200

Celebrating next year it’s 90th anniversary, event organisers have confirmed that for next years North West 200, there will be some special events to celebrate the landmark.

Over the years, legends a plenty have shown and some their talents around the famous Triangle course, including modern day heroes such as event record holder Alastair Seeley, Michael Dunlop, Bruce Anstey and reigning back to back feature race winner, Glenn Irwin.

Looking ahead to next years 90th anniversary of one of pure road racing’s most coveted, famous and illustrious meetings, Event Director, Mervyn Whyte MBE stated:

“We are planning some very special events for our birthday celebrations. Over the coming months we will provide more details about how we will be marking this landmark occasion as we once again see the best line-up of any road race in the world on the International North West 200 grid.”

Race week at the 2019 North West 200 begins on the 12th of May, with qualifying sessions, opening races taking place respectively on the 15th and 16th of May, prior to race day on the 18th.
