Today’s stats themed piece, sees us showcase the thirty fastest racers from last weekend’s Country Crest Skerries 100.
Not surprisingly fastest overall was Open, Super Twins, Grand Final race winner Michael Sweeney, thanks to a best lap time of 1 minute 35.061 seconds.
New Moto 3 lap record holder Michael Browne (1.35.835) emerged closest to Sweeney’s turn of speed whilst the only other racer to go sub 1.40 seconds was Wilson Craig Racing’s Darryl Tweed (1.39.673).
Fourth to tenth quickest racers behind Tweed, Browne, Sweeney, all registered lap times under 1 minute 45 seconds. They are as follows:
2018 Junior Manx GP winner James Chawke (1.41.261), Thomas Maxwell (1.41.922), Senior Support victor, speediest Skerries newcomer Marcus Simpson (1.42.655).
Stephen Tobin (1.43.399), Damian Horan (1.43.764), the Isle of Wight’s Ryan Whitehall (1.43.914), Faraldo Racing’s Keelim Ryan (1.44.001).
Overall, the 30 most rapid pilots at Skerries on Sunday, all lapped under 1 minute 49.6 seconds.
