Set to make his TT Races debut this year, alongside fellow Mountain Course newcomer Michael Jackson, next generation three wheel driver/passenger Harry Payne is the next competitor to take part in Road Racing News, Sidecar equivalent of the popular ten questions challenge.
A former race winner at England’s only pure roads venue, Oliver’s Mount, his answers to the series of questions, are as follows:
Q1: Favourite Roads Meet?
“Well on pure roads I’ve only competed so far at Scarborough (Oliver’s Mount), so I’d have to say there.”
Q2: Favourite Racing Engine?
“When it was going well, the 675 Triumph engine was incredible in a chariot.”
Q3: Best roads moment thus far?
“Winning alongside Dave Wallis, two out of the three Sidecar races, at the Cock O’The North at Oliver’s Mount in 2016.”

Q4: Out of the current roads meets, is their one event in particular where you would like to see Sidecars compete?
“There’s 2, the Ulster Grand Prix & North West 200. Not sure why it doesn’t already happen, but it needs to!”
Q5: Most respected fellow driver?
“Tony ‘Frame Maker’ Baker.”
Q6: Three Wheeling Hero?
“Dave Molyneux”
Q7: What’s the best part about competing on the roads?
“I like the buzz, although I am still relatively inexperienced on closed roads, so might be worth asking me again in a few months!”
Q8: Three words to describe sidecar racing?
“Attitude, ability, finance.”
Q9: In your opinion, who is the greatest Sidecar TT racer of all time?
“Dave Molyneux, the guy is phenomenal.”
Q10: Pole position or fastest lap?
“I’d say both will do nicely.”
