Scarborough specialist Julian Tillotson is planning to make his Classic TT debut this year, as he targets a first foray into Mountain Course competition.
Aiming to compete in the Senior 500 race aboard a Honda 500 Black Bomber, the Bolton based racer has the undoubted credentials to gel well with the world famous Manx roads.
An established high level exponent of Oliver’s Mount, in recent years he’s recorded a consistent string of notable results at England’s real roads course.
Twice ninth in the Super Twin encounters of last years Gold Cup meeting, alongside the Classic TT he’s also targeting competition at all Scarborough events, piloting same as in 2017 the JMS Drain Solutions backed ER6 Kawasaki.
Currently on the lookout for prospective sponsors to join his current list of backers, to help with entry costs, plus race tyres and fuel, he’s another of pure road racing’s great unsung heroes, who’s more than capable of on his day running with many of the sport’s more focused upon competitors.
