For the first time, since clinching the Bob Smith Spring Cup title in 2021, 26 times TT podium finisher Dean Harrison will return to Oliver’s Mount Scarborough, for next month’s Cock O’The North meeting.
Since the mid 2010’s, the Bradford racer has perennially been at the forefront of 1000cc, Classic Superbike, Super Twins, Supersport action at North Yorkshire’s ‘Mini TT’.
Depending on different statistics from specific road racing aficionados, statisticians, he is already a member of the 100 wins club at Scarborough.
Steve Henshaw Gold Cup winner successively in 2016 and 2017, Barry Sheene Trophy winner on four occasions, he’s also the reigning, five times successive (2013-2017), Cock O’The North Champion.
Set to race the same Boyce Precision Engineering/Russell Racing Yamaha, which propelled him to third place finishes at TT 2023, plus 916 Ducati tackle for the yesteryear Superbike races, his presence within the entry-list is a tremendous boost for England’s only, pure road race venue.
Reminder the first Cock O’The North meeting of this decade, runs from the 1st-2nd July.
