Scarborough Gold Cup Preview – Part 3 – Super Twin Races

Ivan Lintin starts as the firm favourite for back to back super twin race victories, at the 2015 Scarborough Gold Cup.

Ivan has established himself in recent years as arguably leading super twins competitor in pure road racing.


Without a doubt main highlight of what has been an excellent season for him, was lightweight TT victory on RC Express Racing ER6 Kawasaki.

James Cowton looks set to lead the challenge to the lightweight TT winner, on Stewart Smith Racing ER6 Kawasaki.

The reigning Duke Road Race Rankings champion has shown again this season, his proven talent on the roads.


Main highlights have included opening super twin’s race victory at Spring Cup National Road Races and recently setting a new lap record for formula 2 classic TT class.

Oliver’s Mount specialist Dan Frear, has the ability to seal race wins as does Jamie Coward piloting Trevor Scott Racing 550 Aprilia.


Adrian Harrison Printing Roller Services ER6 Kawasaki, has the pace to record top three finishes, whilst James Tadman who impressed on his Ulster Grand Prix debut is more than capable of springing a surprise or two.

Same applies to third place finisher in 2014 newcomers B Manx Grand Prix, Nick Anderson.

Further quality to the entry list is added by Adam Child, Julian Tillotson, Paul Gartland, Sam Johnson and Scott Smith.

In recent years super twin’s class has provided multiple entertaining races around Oliver’s Mount, this weekend’s action at the 69th Scarborough Gold Cup, is set to be no different.
