Russ Mountford is greatly looking forward to returning to the mountain course in 2015. This years Isle of Man TT provided the Silicone engineering racing rider with series of high quality results.
18th place finish in Dainese superbike TT following a consistent all round performance was a solid way to start race week at TT 2014. Opening supersport race saw Russ 675 Daytona Triumph mounted clinch 19th place finish plus he was third Triumph mounted rider home.

Superstock TT was next up and 12th position was secured after a highly accomplished performance on Silicone engineering racing ZX10 Kawasaki.
Second supersport race would see Russ acquire his best finish of the week with 11th position recorded as he was leading 675 Daytona Triumph rider home in the race.

Rounding off TT 2014 with highly creditable 19th place finish in senior TT meant that the rider who made his mountain course debut back in 2007 at the Manx Grand Prix had finished runner up in the 2014 TT privateers championship.

Overall this years Isle of Man TT was arguably Russ’s best TT to date. Sixth place finish in opening supersport race at the Ulster Grand Prix, 5th place finish in Southern 100 solo championship and third place finish in formula 1 classic TT have also been amongst the highlights in what has been a great years road racing for Russ.

Looking to 2015 one of the most improved riders in road racing looks set to be Kawasaki mounted for superbike, superstock and senior TT races as he bids for for personal best result which currently is fifth position recorded in lightweight TT in 2012. Plus Russ will be aiming as well for new personal best lap speed having already lapped at the famous road racing circuit in the world at over 125.6 mph.
