2015 Super Twins Manx GP winner Rob Hodson has unveiled his plans for TT 2017.
His second TT Races campaign, sees Rob running his own team, piloting a variety of top draw machinery.
For the 1000cc encounters, the talented Wigan based rider is set to jockey a brand new S1000RR BMW, which carries backing from Sean & Derrick Dawson of VRS Recovery, Stu at P&M Auto Panels and Ray Clark RPC.

In Rob’s own words without all of these generous individuals, he wouldn’t have a big bike, for TT 2017.
Looking towards the Monster Energy Supersport races, he joins riders such as Gary Johnson and Peter Hickman, in competing on 675 Daytona Triumph machinery, in the four lap races, he stated:
“For the first time I will be Triumph 675 mounted, having done one test on it, straight away I got on with it, it’s great fun to ride!”
An accomplished competitor within the Super Twins class, his ER6 Kawasaki mount for the Bennetts Lightweight TT, is the same CMS/SB Tuning backed steed, he participated on last year.
Confident of the potential of his 650 challenger, Rob stated:
“The bike is as good as anything out there and is of the fastest on any grid so I am confident of strong results. A big thanks to Tony for his support again.”
Alongside the TT Races, additional 2017 roads plans for Rob, include returning to Billown for the Post TT Races and Southern 100.
Speaking about this topic plus his overall aims for TT 2017, he said:
“Main focus is of course the TT, where I aim to improve my lap speeds on all 3 bikes. Closely followed by the Post TT and Southern 100 where I think I can push to run up front across all classes. And hopefully making my debut at the Ulster GP.
Massive thank you to everyone mentioned above and everyone else who has got involved this year as new sponsors, their help is greatly appreciated.”
