Yesterday’s Ulster Superbike, support Championships competition at Bishopscourt (national circuit configuration) was tumultuous for a scutch of roads scene heroes.
Mark Johnson, third in last month’s Junior Classic Manx Grand Prix, powered to successive Senior 500 Classics race wins, set a new-record setting class lap time of 1 minute 21.992 seconds.
Graham McAleese, like Johnson in MGP racing mode back in August, was unstoppable in the Lightweight Supersport encounters.
Andy Kildea joined McAleese in taking back-to-back class wins, commanding the Senior 1000 Classics field.
Nigel Moore, Kyle Parkes shared Junior 350 Classics triumphs, Lee Hara impressive within debut’s earlier this year at Cookstown and Armoy, snapped up Moto 3 Race Two victory.
Tam Oliver, father of the much-missed Jack Olver won the second Supersport/Superbike Cup race whilst added real road racers of note participating, included:
Malcolm Love (Junior 250 Classics Race One winner), Lee Osprey, Sean Leonard, Andy McAllister, Gary Hutton.
Stephen Walsh, Dermot Cleary, Caomhan Canny, Linton Irwin, Jonathan Watt and Northwest 200 & Ulster Grand Prix winner Christian Elkin.
