By Rising German roads talent David Datzer was in impressive form on his return to race action, at the Pannonia-Ring Stardesign Racing meeting.
Datzer who tackled the TT Races for the first time in 2019, proved too strong for the opposition within the opening Superbike race, scooping race honours by over eight seconds.
MTP Racing team mate Johannes Schwimmbeck placed third whilst the second big bike encounter yielded a third place finish for the ever enthusiastic Datzer.
Additional racers with pure roads experience in competition last weekend in Hungary included long term Mountain Course exponent, Toni Rechberger.
Rechberger who’s TT CV includes four top 25 finishes, in total seven top 30 finishes, emerged victorious in the Superbike B race edging out Awes Brzin by just 0.025 of a second!
As we still wait for real road racing to return it’s good to see seasoned, upcoming, improving roads competitors gaining much needed track time at highly regarded circuits like the Hungarian Pannonia-Ring.
