Tipped by many to be in contention for standout results at this year’s Manx Grand Prix, Richard Charlton has recently announced his plans for the 2017 roads season.
Having shown strong form on the Mountain Course in 2016, he goes into the 2017 Manx GP quietly confident of contending for top class finishes.
He has proven in recent years, that he has the pace to contend for podium finishes.
This was illustrated in particular last year, during practice week, when he was consistently at the sharp end of the practice leader board.
Thus far his personal best Manx GP result, is sixth place in the 2016 Super Twins encounter.

Equally adept on Super Twins and Supersport machinery, he’s definitely one to watch at the Manx in August.
Alongside competition on the famous Manx roads, Richard is also planning to this year compete at selected Irish national meeting’s which include the Tandragee 100, Cookstown 100 and Kells Road Races.
Additionally he is also targeting action around the hugely popular Billown roads course, for the Post TT Races and the Southern 100.
