Planning to tackle the iconic Dakar Rally next year, great racing all rounder Julien Toniutti has confirmed recently that he will be sampling the Monster Energy Supersport races, at TT 2018.
In recent years part of the Optimark Road Racing set up, this years TT Races sees him join forces with prospective Dakar Rally employers Team 2B/Moraco.
Machinery wise for his third TT venture, like many within the Middleweight Supersport class, he’s opting to pilot one of Yamaha’s proven YZF R6 mounts.
10th in the 2014 Newcomers A Manx Grand Prix, the Frenchman’s TT CV thus far includes finishing a very respectable 34th in last years Pokerstars Senior race.

As with many of his compatriots you can always tell how much it means, every time he competes on the Mountain Course, whether it’s via practice, qualifying or racing.
41st in the opening Monster Energy Supersport encounter of TT 2017, whilst he might not be considered a contender for top 20 finishes in June, he’s extremely capable of springing a surprise or two and finishing in front of many a high profile competitor.
