2009 senior Manx Grand Prix winner Michael Russell had a productive Spring Cup National Road Races, as he opened his 2016 roads campaign.
Piloting his Club 55 Racing CBR 1000 Honda Fireblade, “Jack” showed highly accomplished form, around the iconic road race circuit, that is Oliver’s Mount.
The opening senior race saw wet conditions all round, Michael went onto finish a highly respectable fourteenth.
Second senior race of the meeting, would see much improved albeit still not ideal conditions.
Gaining more valuable track time ahead of TT 2016, the seventh place finisher in the 2015 lightweight TT, wrapped up tenth place finish.
Next road race action on the horizon for Michael, is at TT 2016.
This years Isle of Man TT sees Michael part of the JHS Racing team for the supersport and lightweight races, as he pilots the teams GSX-R 600 and SV 650 Suzuki’s.
Recently announced to hold the number eight plate for the lightweight TT, he is confident of been in contention for a podium finish.
