Based in Cessnock, New South Wales, the Postie Bike Grand Prix, reminiscent of Spain’s famous La Baneza GP is a rare Australian pure roads/street race.

Ran since 2014, the most recent edition yielded victories in mixed conditions for Cody Lewis/Braydon Gay (Cessnock Cup), Big Bang Team’s Isaac Hawes/Caleb Clifton (Heat Race 2).

Ainsley Childs (SMW Drilling Services Wine Country Cup) and the Cessnock Ford Port Tune Performance squad of Brody Nowlan/Josh Pickering, opening heat race winners and winners of the blue-riband, Cessnock Mitsubishi feature race.

Second best behind Nowlan in the race catering for 110cc bikes was above-showcased, Heat race two victors Hawes & Clifton.

No.1 plate holders Daniel Wicks/Boyd Hollis rounded out the first three finishers.

Heat race podium finishers Kade Dorrington/Danny Anderson, Joel Sneesby/Sebastian Sneesby placed respectively sixth, tenth.
