Phil Harvey has recently confirmed, that he will be returning to the Classic TT in August, as he aims for a second successive podium finish, on his own teams RS 250 Honda.
Regarded for a long time, as one of pure road racing’s leading exponents of two stroke machinery, it wasn’t at all a surprise to see the Goole based rider record a second Mountain Course podium finish.
Winner of in excess of 20 silver replica TT trophy’s, he’s more than worthy of been regarded amongst Yorkshire’s most consistent and solid TT/Manx GP competitors of the last thirty years.
Still as competitive as ever at Oliver’s Mount, Phil is missing this weekend’s Cock of the North meeting, as he focuses the remainder of his 2017 season, on the Classic TT.

One of Phil’s anticipated main challengers for a podium finish, within the four lap race, will be his good friend Paul “Moz” Owen.
There’s a great healthy respect between the two riders, who between them have over 40 years of Mountain Course experience.
Just over 20 of those belong to Phil, who like Paul, is targeting only one result, this coming August, a rostrum finish.
