Top british superbike championship competitor Peter Hickman is making his Isle of Man TT debut this year with Paul Shoesmith’s Ice Valley racing by Motorsave ltd team. Peter has over the years in BSB competed for many top teams including Hawk Kawasaki, Quay Garage racing, MSS Kawasaki, GB moto Honda and Buildbase BMW.
In 2013 Peter finished overall 11th in the british superbike championship. Peter’s family has a strong road racing heritage which includes his dad Dave winning the 1977 lightweight Manx Grand Prix. For his TT debut the rider nicknamed Hicky is competing on a S1000RR BMW in the superbike, superstock and senior TT races.
Peter’s entry into TT 2014 is another great boost to what is looking like being a stunning entry for this years Isle of Man TT. It will be interesting to see how Peter who has competed in BSB for over ten years will adapt when making his road racing debut at the Isle of Man TT, but he has the talent, ability and determination to become a top TT competitor.
