Paul Owen’s Team 98 has confirmed it’s plans for the 2016 pure road racing season.
A North West 200 and Ulster Grand Prix podium finisher, Paul is looking forward to next years competition on the roads, as he begins his between the hedges campaign at the Spring cup at Oliver’s Mount.
Following the spring cup, he looks set to return to the mount for the Cock Of The North Road Races.
Return to the world’s fastest road race the Ulster Grand Prix, is also in the planning as Paul pilots Team 98 RS 250 Honda.
Following the Ulster Grand Prix, next meeting on the horizon for Paul, is the Classic TT Races.
He’s set to compete in lightweight, classic races, competing on RS 250 Honda and FZR 750 Yamaha machinery.
His record on the mountain course, is a top class one. Main highlights at TT Races, have included 13th place finish in 2009 senior TT, plus personal best sixth place finish in 2003 Ultra lightweight 125 TT.
Pure road racing stalwart Paul, is amongst Wales most successful pure road racers of the last twenty years.
He has the proven pace, talent, knowledge and experience to seal many a star quality result in 2016 around Oliver’s Mount, Dundrod, Aberdare Park and the mountain course.
