The short candid statement is as follows:
“We have no plans to cancel the event, and are working with our sponsors and new advertisers etc, only this morning have I had riders confirmed as coming.
We are not running until 3rd week of July so there is no reason to panic at the present time. I think the local economy will be happy of the boost when the dreaded virus starts to dip into a trough. However we have to be mindful of government / ACU guidelines.”
