Q1: First memory of Oliver’s Mount?
“First memories were when I first moved to Scarborough from Kilmarnock in 1990 and heard bikes, was aged 9.”
Q2: Favourite part about racing at the mount?
“It was a dream to race here competitively and be part of the history of the mount.”
Q3: Favourite section of Scarborough course?
“Love all of it but if I was really pressed it’s the Esses in.”
Q4: Best moment thus far at Scarborough?
“Gold Cup in 2024, Super Twins in bad conditions qualified on row four, twelfth amongst a tough field. In the Saturday race, had a good finish in that field of riders, Ian Lougher pipped me at Mountside on the last lap.”
Q5: All time Scarborough racing hero?
“Ian Lougher closely followed by David Whitaker a friend I admire a lot.”
Q6: Is there one machine in particular that you would like to race at Scarborough?
“Would love to have ago on a 250 Lightweight or a Kramer.”
Q7: One word to describe Oliver’s Mount?
“Amazing”
Q8: Most respected racing rival at Scarborough?
“Got a couple so far in the Super-Twins as I’ve learned OM in last two years, Nick Boggan, Neil Mason.”
