Oliver’s Mount heroes Ian Lougher and Chris Palmer have been honoured with a part of the tight and twisty road race circuit being named after them. The parts of Oliver’s Mount which have being named after Ian and Chris where known before as Memorial in and Memorial out they are now known as Lougher’s and Palmer’s.
Combined Ian Lougher and Chris Palmer have won 229 races at Oliver’s Mount, in there final meeting at Oliver’s Mount, the 2013 Scarborough gold cup proved both where still as competitive as ever. Chris won a fabulous opening 125 race in front of Ian. Ian went onto win the second 250 race at the 2013 Scarborough gold cup. Its brilliant to see that both Ian and Chris have been recognised for there outstanding achievements at the unique Oliver’s Mount road race circuit.
