Michael Dunlop was in fantastic form to set quickest time in Thursday’s superstock practice session at Vauxhall international North West 200. Second quickest to Michael was Alastair Seeley on Mar Train racing ZX10 Kawasaki stocker who was only marginally slower than in practice.
Michael Rutter was third quickest for Bathams BMW, Martin Jessopp made it three BMW’s in the top four in practice by showing top form on Riders Motorcycles HP4 BMW. Simon Andrews competing for Penz 13.com BMW finished 5th fastest in front of Horst Saiger who proved his fastest time in opening superstock practice on Tuesday was no fluke by rounding out the top six quickest in today’s practice session.
Bruce Anstey was leading Honda rider in 7th place, Conor Cummins was on the pace in eighth position on RAF Reserves Honda superstock bike, Gary Johnson was ninth on JRC racing backed ZX10 Kawasaki and Stephen Thompson completed the top ten. Leading newcomer in practice was Peter Hickman who has adapted really well to the North West 200, Peter finished 16th quickest on Ice Valley racing by Motorsave ltd S1000RR BMW.
