By It’s just over one month till the Bob Smith Spring Cup (15th-16th April) begins and excitement amongst road racing fans is soaring.
With this in mind, the following update will no doubt increase this factor.
New SMT Racing signing Rob Hodson, is the latest renowned roads scene member to confirm his intention, to sample the upcoming Bob Smith Spring Cup.
For the UK roads season opener, the 2022 Classic Superbike Manx GP winner will compete in SMT colours, piloting R6 Yamaha, Z650 Kawasaki machinery, which are respectively supported by VRS Recovery and KH Commercials.
No stranger to success at Oliver’s Mount, Hodson claimed a victory double at the 70th Scarborough Gold Cup and went onto secure overall Super Twins class honours.
Additionally, a new personal best lap speed was also banked, lapping sub 1 minute 48.5 seconds.
Aiming for that next level, next pace injection around the Mount, expect him to continue his productive progress next month.
