By There is a new practice and race schedule for TT 2016.
Opening practice session will now see super twins joined by supersport 600’s, alongside opening practice laps for newcomers to the mountain course.
Superbikes/super stockers/ supersport 600’s will be first out in all practice sessions during TT 2016.
Changes to race schedule include on the Wednesday of race week the lightweight TT will now take place over four laps.
This will add an extra dimension to the super twins class, which in recent years has seen three new TT Races winners in James Hillier, Dean Harrison, Ivan Lintin.
Second Sure sidecar race now takes place on the Friday of race week before the blue riband senior TT.
TT 2015 saw two enthralling sidecar races, the Birchall brothers Ben and Tom showed their immense talent with back to back race wins, whilst Dave Molyneux/Benjamin Binns set a new outright lap record following lap speed of 116.785 mph.
