NEMCRC Croft: Roads Scholars Continue Positive Season Starts

International, national road racing scholars a plenty, continued today their positive 2025 race season starts at Croft.

WTF Racing’s Dominic Herbertson dominated the Laird of Croft Supersport races, taking comprehensive wins with respective prime chasers, yesterday’s class conqueror Franco Bourne (Super Twins races two, three, four winner), Tom Robinson, Matty Rostron, 12.178, 17.323, 28.608 seconds in arrears from middleweight category encounters.

Building on yesterday’s success, Rob Hodson acquired Ken Redfern Trophy races three & four honours.

The fourth big-bike contest saw the SMT Racing rider finish just over nine seconds, in front of new Team York Suzuki signing, Joey ‘Yorkshire’ Thompson.

Afore-mentioned Chasin the Racin host, 2024 Cookstown Man of The Meeting Herbertson finished third, under 1.8 seconds ahead of ‘The Mullet’ Matt Stevenson.

Ken Redfern Trophy race two victor Gaz Evans obtained seventh with Team Classic Suzuki’s Shaun Anderson, Curtis Milburn, Oliver’s Mount CB 500 Champion completing the first ten finishers.

Three-wheeling wise, Team ARC’s Lee Crawford/Scott Hardie were the crème de la crème from Sunday’s sole ACU/FSRA (Formula Sidecar Racing Association) F2 race, winning by nigh-on 14.5 seconds.

Kieran Clarke/Andy Johnson, prospective TT debutant Steve Kershaw/Rhys Gibbons joined Crawford/Hardie on the race rostrum.
