MV Agusta has a fantastic record around the mountain course which includes 34 wins in total making them currently the join fifth most successful manufacturer around the most famous road racing circuit in the world.
After multiple years away from the Isle of Man TT MV Agusta returned in an official capacity for TT 2007 running Martin Finnegan who secured a fantastic fourth place finish in superstock TT, in TT 2013 the Valmoto MV Agusta team ran two time TT winner Gary Johnson who recorded highly respectable ninth place finish in second supersport race.

Unfortunately for TT 2014 there was no MV Agusta’s competing but at the classic TT races Lee Johnston recorded MV’s first win around the mountain course since 1972 when Giacomo Agostini secured double race win following 350 classic TT victory on Black Eagle racing MV Agusta.

Plus at the Manx Grand Prix James Ford was MV Agusta mounted in senior race where he acquired top 50 finish. For many fans of one of the most famous names in motorcycling one of the distinctive features about MV’s is the fantastic noise they make, in particular at TT 2013 fans loved the unique noise of the Valmoto 675 MV Agusta.

Its difficult to say whether the motorcycle manufacturer which alongside 34 TT victories has also 19 second place finishes will be back competing at the Isle of Man TT. But one things for sure the memories will last forever for MV Agusta fans all over the world of their triumphs around the road race circuit where legends are made.
