11 times TT winner Michael Dunlop will be continuing his association with Arai helmets, as he continues his preparations prior to the start of the 2016 pure road racing season.
Having used Shoei helmets in 2013 and 2014, Michael linked up again with Arai in 2015.
Throughout his career his helmet designs have regularly maintained a black and white colour scheme.
It’s set to be the same this year, with a few slight changes.
Although still to be officially announced, Michael looks all set to compete this year for Buildbase BMW at TT 2016, North West 200 and the world’s fastest road race the Ulster Grand Prix.
The superstock and supersport TT lap record holder, is bidding to regain his status as the one to beat, at the Isle of Man TT.
His 132.515 mph lap on the final lap of the 2015 Pokerstars senior TT, reminded everyone of his undoubted ability around the Mountain Course.
With Peter Hickman piloting a full factory ZX10R Kawasaki, Ian Hutchinson back at his best, John McGuinness and Bruce Anstey still as formidable as ever, the competition is arguably the toughest it’s ever been at the TT Races.
We know though that Michael Dunlop can prove that the impossible is possible, he’s already regarded by many as an all time pure road racing and TT great.
So the question is will he add to his current tally of 11 TT victories? we will all know from the 28th May to the 10th of June, as to what answer it will be.
